White Tea

White tea is made from young tea leaves and buds. The leaves are plucked before they fully open, when the young buds are still covered in fine white hairs. This is where the name “white” tea comes from. After plucking, the tea leaves undergo withering and drying. This is done slowly and with care so that the structure of the leaves remain intact. Resulting in a tea that is light, fluffy and multi-hewed. Due to it's minimal processing, White Tea is delicate in nature, making it sensitive to water tempuratures.
