This is the perfect tool set to round out your Matcha equipment. The set includes: 

  • Japanese Matcha Whisk (Chasen)
  • Traditional Scoop (Chashaku)
  • Tea Spoon (To stir the matcha once prepared.  The powder will settle, use the spoon to stir rather than re-wisk.)
     

This set is made of bamboo and sealed with a vegetable oil finish to enhance durability.

Care Instructions and tips

Soak the wisk prongs in cold water for a few minutes before each use. Inspect the whisk and remove any broken prongs.  The shape of the whisk will change over time. The knot will open and straighten after each use. Wash with cold water after each use. Gently rub the prongs to remove powder. Pat dry then air dry. We recommend storing the wisk on a stand.   


To clean the scoop and spoon, wash with warm water or wipe with a damp cloth, do not use soap, dry thoroughly. Store tools in a dry place, away from high heat.
