Strawberry popsicles

Tea Popsicles

BY: Lisa Hall

Yields 6 popsicles (depending on the mold)

What you will need

Freezer safe popsicle mold

3 cups of tea brewed at double strength

Simple Syrup

Directions

  1. Prepare Simple Syrup by heating 1 part sugar and 1 part water on the stovetop until sugar is disolved.
  2. Brew your tea at double strength according to package directions.  I used 9 grams of Shipwreck Alley Strawberry to make 3 cups of tea. I heated the water to boiling and steeped it for 6 minutes.
  3. Add simple syrup as desired. I used 2 tablespoons. You may want more or less.
  4. Pour tea into popsicle mold. You may want to let the tea cool slightly before pouring it into a plastic mold.
  5. Freeze for 24 hours, or until popsicles are frozen through.

Lisa’s Tips

  • Run the popsicle mold under warm water to gently release the popsicles from the mold.
  • Refrigerate the remainder of the Simple Syrup in an airtight container for up to 1 month. Use it sweeten iced tea or to make the BEST Arnold Palmer!
  • This is a great way to use old tea!
