This tea brews a lovely and tastey, deep burgundy-red cup. This tea is strong without being overpowering or bitter. It has a smooth, clean black tea taste.  Just like the city itself, this tea's unique flavor is sure to keep you intrigued. 

This tea tolerates milk and sweetener, though we feel this tea doesn't need it. We encourage you to experiment to find your perfect cup!

STEAPing Suggestion

Measure 2 teaspoons of tea leaves (3 grams) per 8 oz. of water. Heat water to 200, or just short of boiling, and steep for 3-5 minutes.

This tea is named for the city of Ypsilanti, MI, pronunced "ip" + "si" + "lan" + "tee."
