Inspired by Lake Superior, this tea hails from the well-regarded Assam region of India.

Assam tea is known for a deep, burgundy-red liquor and pungent flavor. This Superior Assam is a blend of teas from various esstates in the region to create a consistent taste from year to year. This bold, black tea brews more of a sweet starchy than malty cup, like roasted plantains with notes of raisins. This tea provides a rounded mouthfeel, brisk astringency, and rich aroma. It is malty without being overpowering. A solid and friendly Assam.

STEAPing Suggestion

Measure 2 teaspoons of tea leaves (3 grams) per 8 oz. of water. Heat water to 200 F and steep for 3 - 5 minutes.
