Inspired by Lake Superior, this tea hails from the well-regarded Assam region of India.

Assam tea is known for a deep, burgundy-red liquor and malt-like flavor. This single estate Assam is a bold black tea with a malty finish.  The brewed cup provides a rounded mouthfeel, brisk astringency, and rich aroma. It is full bodied and can tollerate additions such as milk and sugar. 

This Assam hails from the Banaspaty Estate, which lies on the northern bank of the Brahmaputra River valley, a famous area for growing Assam tea. The estate is surrounded by a lush, tropical landscape.

STEAPing Suggestion

Measure 2 teaspoons of tea leaves (3 grams) per 8 oz. of water. Heat water to 200 F and steep for 3 - 5 minutes.
