Affectionaelty named for the engineering marvel, the Soo Locks, this oolong is smooth and delightful.

Soo Locks Oolong is made with rolled or semi-balled oolong leaves and coated with natural orange flavoring. When infused the leaves unfurl to release their sweet floral goodess. The flavor released by the tea leaves along with the natural citrus combine to result in a creamy smooth cup with floral and citrus notes. Ridiculously good both hot and iced tea.

About the Name

The Soo Locks are a set of parallel locks that enable ships to travel between Lake Superior and the lower Great Lakes. They are located on the St. Marys River between Lake Superior and Lake Huron, between Michigan's UP and the Canadian province of Ontario. An average of 10,000 ships per year pass through the locks from April -December each year. The locks are closed during the winter from January - March, when ice shuts down shipping on the Great Lakes.
