Michigan Strong is a Michigan themed tea inspired by the resiliency of Michiganders. Michigan Strong is a Puerh, a form of Dark tea, mellow and grounding, just like the state of Michigan.  

Michigan Strong is extraordinarily smooth and refreshing. This Puerh (pronounced 'poo-err')  has undergone a natural fermentation process before drying, leading to a liquor that is deep, rich in body, with zero astringency.  It has a clean, woodsy aroma, akin to hay and savory vegetables. Wilted flower notes and a faint dark chocolate texture. 

This tea is extremely versatile and perfect for experimentation.  It can be steeped for as little as 30 second or as long as 30 minutes, whatever pleases your palate.

STEAPing Suggestion

Measure 2 teaspoons of tea leaves (3 grams) per 8 oz. of water. Heat to boiling or just short of boiling, and steep for 3 - 5 minutes.  

This tea tolerates multiple infustions.
