Michigan Breakfast is a classic, strong, black tea blend, perfect for starting your morning!       

This tea brews up a nice burgundy-red liquor.  It is slightly malty, yet balanced. Strong without being bitter or astringent. Just like the State of Michigan, this tea's unique flavor is sure to keep you coming back cup after cup. 

This tea tolerates milk and sweetener well.

STEAPing Suggestion

Measure 2 teaspoons of tea leaves (3 grams) per 8 oz. of water. Heat water to 200 F and steep for 3 - 5 minutes.  

About the Name

This tea brews to a lovely amethyst color remenicent of the Northern Lights. The aurora can often be seen Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and occassionally in some locations below the brigde.
