One of our Michigan themed teas, Lansing Lapsang is a traditional Lapsang Souchong or smoked black tea from China.
These tea leaves been smoke-dried over pinewood fires, imparting a distinctive flavor of smokiness. This tea has a large, course leaf style. Both the flavor and aroma contain empyreumatic notes, such as wood smoke, pine resin, and smoked paprika. Less astringent than other black tea's, this full bodied tea can be prepared with or without milk.
