MI CHAI is a new and unique chai blend, inspired by the great state of Michigan and traditional Indian Chai.
This proprietary blend will delight your senses with it's light blue hue, "chai" taste, and comforting aroma. Yes, it is naturally caffeine free and naturally BLUE.
This Chai blend is best prepared with milk, but can also be prepared with a water/milk ratio, or with water and adding milk. We encourage you to experiment with leaf quantity, cook time, and various sweeteners (our favorite is honey!) to find your perfect cup.
To prepare, we recommend this easy, 4 step preparation process:
1. Combine 1-2 tsp dry tea blend & 1 cup milk in a small saucepan. 2. Bring to a simmer & add sweetener. Stirring constantly, simmer 8-10 minutes.
3. Remove from heat, cover and steep mixture for 5 minutes.
4. Strain & enjoy!
For a "ready to drink" beverage, try cold brewing the chai blend in milk. That's right! Following the same suggested leaf to milk rations, combine and refrigerate for 2-3 days. Strain. The milk chai will keep in the refrigerator as long as your milk is good, or about 2 weeks (Not that it will last that long!). Serve cold as an iced chai, or heat. Adding sweetener during the final preparation phase.
