A superb Oolong from the blue mountains of the Nilgiri region.
“Frost” tea is grown during the winter months, exposed to both temperate and cold growth conditions. The plants are allowed to frost over and recover, giving the leaves a unique character. The result is a bright and crisp aromatic tea. The brewed amber liquor is flavorful, presenting floral & fruity notes.
Use 1 heaping tsp. of tea leaves (2-3 grams) per 8 oz. of water, 190 - 200 F. Steep for 3 - 5 minutes.
This tea yeilds multiple infusions. Increase the steeping time 30 seconds to one minute for each infusion. The number of infusions you do depends on your unique preferences. So, go ahead, experiment, find your perfect cup!
Using a glass mug, teapot, or Giawan will allow you to experience the beauty of this tea as it steeps.
