AInspired by Lake Superior, this tea hails from the well-regarded Assam region of India. Assam tea is known for a deep, burgundy-red liquor and pungent flavor. This Superior Assam is a blend of teas from various esstates in the region to create a consistent taste from year to year. This bold, black tea brews more of a sweet starchy than malty cup, like roasted plantains with notes of raisins. This tea provides a rounded mouthfeel, brisk astringency, and rich aroma.
