Assam tea is known for a deep, burgundy-red liquor and pungent flavor. This Superior Blend is perfect for tea drinkers who may be new to the powerful character of Assam. This bold, black tea brews more of a sweet starchy than malty cup, like roasted plantains with notes of raisins.  This tea provides a rounded mouthfeel, brisk astringency, and rich aroma.  It is malty without being overpowering. A solid, 'friendly' Assam.
