A Michigan inspired tea, Sleeping Bear is  a rolled green tea. 
 
Tightly rolled leaves and silver, fuzzy buds give this tea its signature shape - similar to a sleeping Bear or Dragon. The rolled tea leaves unfold, opening up as they steep, to produce a liquor that is fresh and vibrant, with a complex and crisp finish. Brewed, this tea delivers a soft, fruity sweetness enveloped by smokiness. It is vegetal without being "grassy," and offers a nice unami flavor.  
 
This tea is grown in China's mountainous Fujian province, at approximately 800 to 1,000 meters.
 
 
S•TEA•Ping Suggestions:
Use 1 tsp of tea leaves (2-3 grams) per 8 oz. of water, 175-185 F.

Steep for 2-3 minutes.
